STUDY HOURS = NO TV?!?

i read this article from The Jakarta Post today. the new mayor of Semarang said that parents should turn off the TV while study hours like 6.30 PM - 9.30. when i read that i thought it's very overreacted! i mean, students still need to relax and chill. our job as a student is to study. but we're human too, we need to be relax and have some fun too right? well, it's just my thought....
here's the article :

"New Semarang mayor Soemarmo Hadi Saputro launched on Saturday compulsory studying hours for children, calling on parents to support the program.

The mayor said he expected parents to switch off television, take away their children’s toys and accompany them during the studying hours at between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

"Parents need to monitor and accompany their children while they are studying,” he said as quoted by Antara news agency.

He told parents to firmly ask their children to stay at home and study during the designated period. “Parents have to introduce a regulation on time to play and time to study so that children can learn about discipline,” the mayor said.

He believes parents’ support for the program would help the Central Java capital generate a quality generation."

well, well, well, i obviously don't want it.....

Zac Efron Grown Up.

i just read teenvogue.com today, and i saw this article where they prove that Zac Efron (famous from his role in High School Musical and 17 Again) it's all grown up! well, he look stunning in this picture ^^
he just starring in the new movie Charlie St.Cloud.. besides his look, it's pretty sure that his acting is marvelous! check this article....

"In Charlie St. Cloud, Zac Efron proves he's all grown up. Audiences have gotten used to seeing Zac Efron in basketball duds; after all, the triple threat suited up for the High School Musical trilogy, as well as 17 Again. But this month the 22-year-old leaves his comfortable warm-ups behind to star in Charlie St. Cloud, in which he plays a young man with a promising future that's compromised after a car accident takes the life of his younger brother, Sam. Zac, who explored his dramatic side with last year's Me & Orson Welles, feels that his newest role is a departure for him. "It's much more emotional and a little bit older," he says proudly. "It was what drew me to this particular film." The part also called for Zac to become an experienced sailor, which required more than a few lessons. "I'd been before, but I wasn't the one doing the sailing. I was playing Game Boy below deck," he confesses. "Now I've got such an appreciation for the sport."

The transition from teen heartthrob to bona fide movie star isn't always a smooth one, but Zac seems fully prepared for the challenge. His next film (for which he'll also pick up a producing credit) delves even further into adult subject matter: Zac plays a money-laundering drug runner. Beyond that, he's surprisingly mum on the details of his upcoming projects. "I don't want to jinx it, you know?" he says. "My checklist is infinite. There's nothing I wouldn't try.""
